Our client is a well established, profitable, information security software company located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  They are seeking a Director of Sales with a strong analytics approach toward growing a performance driven sales team.

There is tremendous flexibility and growth opportunity for the right sales leader.  One who can identify performance metrics and motivate a (currently) 6-person sales team to embrace a plan and execute strategically.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor inside sales strategies, plans and programs.
  • Lead a team of inside sales reps, including hiring, training, managing, and mentoring and ensuring the sales process is followed and documented.
  • Create and implement metrics to track effectiveness of the sales organization.
  • Plan, execute, focus and deliver sales goals and profitability targets.
  • Proven success with an Inside Sales organization.
  • Work closely with marketing to define and implement effective lead generation follow-up activities.
  • Strong motivational skills as well as a high level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, account development, and time management in order to provide direction to inside sales specialists
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
  • Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
  • Ability to occasionally travel and attend sales events or exhibits.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com and familiarity with desktop sharing software packages (WebEx, Desktop Applications)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of B2B software and/or security services sales
  • Ability to sell and be persuasive, and able to repetitively overcome objections from prospects
  • Numbers driven, someone that knows what metrics to follow in order to be successful
  • Previous success in managing inside sales teams within fast paced technology company
  • Proven ability to implement sales management processes and track success
  • Ability to manage and hold sales reps accountable to not only revenue, but also the entire sale process.
  • Sales experience within the information security industry.
  • Live in or relocate to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Location:  This position is based in Baton Rouge, LA.  Relocation may be provided

Travel:  Negligible
