Bookkeeping / Accountant
Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant. The selected candidate must have a bachelors degree and 3+ years bookkeeping / accounting experience.
The Company: This is a very well established financial services company. The company is privately owned and therefore capable of making decisions quickly and executing strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Recording and organizing company’s financial transactions
- Invoicing
- Billing
- Payroll
- Reconciling transactions
- Prepare reports for managers and trial balances for accountants.
- Analyze company structure and help determine budget.
- Responsibilities will also include some personal tax return filing.
Requirements:
- Bookkeeping / Accounting experience is a firm requirement.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited 4-year institution (accounting highly preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping
- Professional appearance and communication skills.
- Tax Experience desirable
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with outstanding communication skills
- Proficient in Excel, proven experience with spreadsheets, and accounting software experience.
- Experience in related job function with small privately held company a plus
Location: Mobile, AL
