Hello Gateway Sourcing Community

We have revamped our website to be a little more current and offer some relevant / interesting information for both our client and candidate relations through our blog feature.
Depending upon the feedback and suggestions, I will steer my topics towards the majority of popular requests (within reason). However, I still reserve the right to throw in a killer jerk chicken recipe or picture of my daughter if it’s a slow week.
As we have had our own firm, Gateway Sourcing, for 7 years now and recruiting experience for 20 years, we have been blessed by many wonderful candidates and clients. Shannon and I kind of think of ourselves as the E-Harmony of recruiting. Or “Yente”, the matchmaker from Fiddler on the Roof. We honestly get so much satisfaction from introducing the right candidate to the right client. And if it’s not the right fit, we don’t press it. That has been the model for our success and I think the reason our clients call us whenever they need help.
For many of us, the business climate and economy are still questionable. There is a desire to grow / produce / develop, but there is the pragmatic side that is cautious and uncertain. Shannon (my wife and business partner) and I are naturally optimistic people, but we are also concerned with current morose in the market. The “If you build it…” sentiment is tethered with many circumstances and conditions.
If you are a candidate looking for a job, be patient. Understand that companies have tremendous pressure upon them stemming from economic factors, forecasting, employee legislation, foreign and domestic competition, and the fight to keep their existing employee base.
If you are a client dealing with these and other situations, we understand. Know that we are here for you whenever you need us.
Enjoy the blog ….
