We have a client looking to hire a Technology Administrator to support the IT Director and processes integral to running a successful IT department. Candidate will likely have 2-5 years experience facilitating software development, documentation, compliance and vendor management contracts. PMP certification is preferred.
The Location: The position will be located in Mobile, AL and reports to the IT Director.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of Technology group documentation
- IT Policies (+40)
- Reference and Training Material for Technology Staff
- Standards and Practices
- Pattern and Style Library
- Application Documentation
- Server and Network Topology
- IT Forms
- Aid in staff compliance issues
- Proper time reporting
- Adherence with defined priorities
- Monitor actual vs estimated
- Adherence with published change management process
- Promotion of changes through staging and production
- Intake of change requests
- Groom Project Portfolio
- Ensure portfolio is supported and reflects active initiatives
- Ensure proper documentation is provided for each release
- Monitor project burn rates
- Ensure that commitments are being met
- Develop and maintain Vendor management system
- Purchasing
- Review and research purchase orders
- Ensure robust documentations is performed for all IT spend
- Research cost-saving alternatives in large purchases
- Aid in PTO request and Timesheet processing
- Provider user administration for some third party services
- Manage software licenses
- Take phone calls
- Provide backup to content manager.
- Assist the Technology Director in maintaining PCI, SOC1/2 and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, including
- Maintaining reports
- Participating in routine interviews and audits
- Research any non-compliance findings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree – preferably MIS or Computer Science degree
- 2+ years of demonstrated IT management experience
- Demonstrated documentation management
- PMP certificate strongly preferred
- Knowledgeable in compliance maintaining PCI, SOC1/2 and Sarbanes-Oxley
- Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work on multi-functional teams and proven verbal and written communications skills

Compensation: Commensurate with experience, this permanent position pays $60K+ with full benefits and matching 401K program.
