Gateway Sourcing is helping a client find a Syteline Business Analyst.  The company has recently implemented Syteline to replace a proprietary software system and looking for a subject matter expert particularly for “order-to-cash”.  This company manufactures a product which is then sold and distributed to retail outlets throughout the country.  They need someone with at least 8 years experience using Syteline.

Job Overview:  As a Syteline Business Analyst you would be responsible for the technical aspects and functional requirements within the client’s business processes and translating them into actionable IT tasks that can result in solutions aligned with Business Process Requirements. It will include system configurations, customizations, integrations and support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, processes, and pain points. This would involve conducting workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to gather detailed requirements.

System Configuration: Technical knowledge of Infor Syteline ERP specifically Order-to-Cash, Planning and Manufacturing, the position involves configuration and customization of the system aligned with the business processes. This would include setting up modules, defining workflows, and configuring user roles and permissions.

Customization: Knowledge of MS SQL and .NET is necessary for enhancing Syteline functionalities through customization to tailor the system to the business needs. This could involve writing scripts, designing new User Interfaces (UI), creating custom reports, or developing new functionalities.

Integration: Provide integration support for various software applications that are currently in place with Syteline. Knowledge of Syteline integration with Salesforce would be ideal. The role would involve designing and implementing these integrations to ensure seamless data flows between systems.

Testing and Development: Support deployment of any changes to the production environment after thorough testing to ensure the functionalities capture the business requirements.

Training and Support: Provide training to end-users to ensure they can effectively use the system. Additionally, there is the responsibility for ongoing support to address any questions, issues, or enhancement requests that arise post-implementation.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation of Syteline implemented configurations, customizations, dataflows, process flows and user feature guides.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience working with Syteline ERP specifically in Order-to-Cash, Planning and Manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, that facilitate communications between different business functions and IT.
  • Ability to connect and collaborate with the business sponsors and all the stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, while effectively managing multiple projects.
  • Sharp troubleshooting skills to investigate and resolve Syteline user issues.

Location: Milwaukee, WI. Not a remote position. Travel – Negligible.
