Senior Enterprise Account Executive
Outstanding career opportunity for a motivated B2B sales professional. This privately held telecom and information company is growing by leaps and bounds! The focus of the Sr. Enterprise Account Executive will be to develop and maintain a strong presence in the competitive Cloud landscape while achieving profitability and performance standards. This regionally based company offers a customer service level second to none. Domestic service; 24/7.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and prepared to join a fast paced and committed team. They will be conversant in data center environments, traditional hosting models, cloud offerings, servers, storage, enterprise applications and security.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible and committed to effectively organizing their workload to exceed sales metrics and accurately forecast all revenue opportunity in a timely manner.
- Develop strategic, viable and well-planned sales opportunities with a targeted set of customers.
- Work across a territory to create a market for defined Cloud offerings and services and to qualify and develop opportunities within those markets.
- Must be able to travel to client sites within regional area to meet in person with client staff.
- Work with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Requirements:
- BS or BA in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years successful prior experience in IT related sales, Client account management services, or consulting practice management.
- Experience in Cloud Computing, Managed Security Services or IT Solution practice area.
- This position requires excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work in a team environment and explain complex system solutions to customers.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills are also required.
- Willingness to travel.
Additional requirements:
Due to the nature of this position, all candidates must have:
- A dependable vehicle
- A clean driving record free of DWI/DUI (within the past 5 years)
- Few if any moving vehicle violations (e.g. speeding tickets)
- No bankruptcies or charge offs in the past 3 years
- A clean drug screening test
Location: This position may be home based in the New Orleans or Birmingham, AL market.
Travel: The travel is close to 60%, with seldom overnight.
Compensation: Base compensation starts at $120 K+ commensurate with experience; plus a commission structure that could double based on aggressive sales quotas. This client also provides attractive employee benefits including Medical / Dental, and 401K matching and a $500 monthly car allowance is included to cover all gas and maintenance of your vehicle.
