Job Description

This is an excellent junior position for a Report Writer and leading to a junior programming position – The Report Writer is responsible for translating business requirements into production of ad hoc reports and data sets. Report Writer must engage managers to understand the business need and work with software developers and data architects to ensure meaningful presentation of critical business data.

This position requires a recent four-year degree in Computer Science, passion for database work, and experience with SQL queries and relational databases. It is a permanent position, though paid hourly, and does include full benefits.

Job Requirements

  • 4 year degree in Computer Science, preferably recent.
  • Excellent communication skills and effective interfacing with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of basic SQL and relational databases.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel.

Requirement Summary

Applicants should have Ph.D. degree in Metallurgical, Welding or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; or a B.S. or M.S. degree and experience at the Associate Research Engineer level.

Location

Select candidate must reside within the Mobile, AL market. No relocation allowance

Compensation:

Salary to $15 per hour and full benefits. Full-time (Monday – Friday)

Candidates must be U.S. citizens or Green Card holders.
