Job Description

We have a client looking to hire a Software Planner / Analyst to support the development of technical projects within their company. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years work experience and demonstrate their successful project management experience.

The Location:

The position will be located in Mobile, AL and reports to the IT Manager. No relocation allowance is offered.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project management plans for new and ongoing software development efforts.
  • Track day-to-day project activities to ensure aggressive progress and high visibility of the development effort.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and underlying processes.
  • Work collaboratively with development team and Software Services Manager to determine technical direction and approach to system design and implementation.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers as needed in regards to project deliverables including managing expectations, presenting and interfacing with sponsors.
  • Coach and train project team members on software development processes and best practices.
  • Contribute to the design and coding of products.

Requirements:

  • B.S. or B.A. degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience building and delivering software to the enterprise.
  • Must have software programming knowledge
  • Experienced with project management software
  • Demonstrated success as a project
  • U. S Citizen

    Salary to $70K – $80K commensurate with experience and includes full benefits
