Job Description
We have a client looking to hire an HR Manager. This position requires experience in human resources for a consulting firm, staffing firm or employee leasing firm, and also generalist HR experience in a business environment. It is imperative that the selected person will have experience in working with government contracts, government employees, and fingerprinting. A bachelor’s degree is required and an advanced degree is preferred. Other desirable experience and skill sets include a well-rounded background in benefits, employee relations, and a strong knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). The selected candidate will also have excellent communication skills, strong decision making ability and a comfort level working with a diverse employee population.

The Location
The position will be located in Grand Prairie, Texas (Dallas) and reports to the Human Resources Director.
Responsibilities and Industry Knowledge
Experience with government contracts, fingerprinting, government employee rules and regulations. Manage recruiters, who are recruiting in internal databases and internet-based candidate search tools, as well as advertising. Functional HR areas include but are not limited to: employee relations, training, employment, EEOC regulations, labor relations, affirmative action and employment equity programs.
Travel Expectations
Travel is in the 20-30% range; extended overnight travel may be required at times.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years HR management experience
- Staffing or employee leasing industry experience, and experience with government contracts, government employees, and fingerprinting
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Human Resources generalist experience

Compensation:
